Camp Kilowatt June 7 through 10, 2023

Kankakee Valley REMC will sponsor 8 6th-grade boys/girls to participate in Touchstone Energy Camp. The camp takes place at Camp Tecumseh in Brookston, Indiana. The boys and girls will learn about electrification, electric safety, and understanding cooperative business principles. They will also enjoy horseback riding, rock climbing, zip-lining, canoeing, swimming, and more!
Touchstone Energy Camp is an excellent opportunity for youth to learn how an electric distribution system works. Kankakee Valley REMC pays all expenses for the trip except for travel to/from the camp and incidental expenses of the participants while at the camp.
