If you’re a 5th through 8th-grader making a difference in your community and live on electric cooperative lines, we encourage you to apply for the Youth Power and Hope Award.
Indiana Connection and Indiana’s electric cooperatives are the proud sponsors of the Youth Power and Hope Award. Since 2009, the program has recognized Indiana youth in grades 5 to 8 for their community service.
Past winners have raised thousands of dollars, donated thousands of toys for Riley Hospital for Children, started a coat drive for the less fortunate, raised funds to cure diabetes, and developed a program to provide police officers with stuffed animals to comfort children in crisis situations, and much more!
Winners will be honored at a special ceremony in Indianapolis.
The application and deadline for 2024 will be available in spring / summer.
