Indiana Youth Tour provides young Hoosiers the opportunity to visit the nation’s capital, experience American history, learn more about government and gain a better understanding about their electric cooperative. The 2024 Indiana Youth Tour is June 16-23.
This opportunity is open to all students who will be returning for their senior year in the fall. First consideration will be given to applicants who are sons, daughters, or legal wards of Kankakee Valley REMC members. Travel expenses from Indianapolis, meals, lodging, and scheduled event fees will be paid by Kankakee Valley REMC.
Students participating in the trip will visit the Flight 93 Memorial, Gettysburg Battlefield, Arlington National Cemetery, National Museum of the Marine Corps and Smithsonian museums. The delegation will also tour the National Mall memorials, meet new friends from across the country and much more.
