A Great Place to Gather
We want you to feel at home at KV REMC. That’s why we’ve created the Community Room, a large meeting room in our Wanatah headquarters building that is available to our members and the community for rental. It’s a great space for group meetings, training sessions, workshops, anniversary and birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, and other special events.
The Community Room can accommodate up to 60 people for sit-down dinners. A warming kitchen, equipped with a stove, refrigerator, and double sink, is available. There is ample parking on the east side of the building for all your guests.
Reservations are required and accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pricing
Non-Member: $250
Not-For-Profit & Member: $150
The person signing for the room rental must be present at the event.
Rent the Community Room
Organizations or individuals wishing to rent the Community Room must fill out an application. We recommend calling the office to confirm the room is available before mailing your application and fees. Note: Kankakee Valley REMC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule your event/meeting due to an emergency or scheduling conflicts. If this occurs, we will make every effort to contact you in advance to arrange alternative arrangements.
