Community Room Rental

A Great Place to Gather

Community roomWe want you to feel at home at KV REMC. That’s way we’ve created the Community Room, a large meeting room in our Wanatah headquarters building that is available to our members and the community for rental. It’s a great space for group meetings training classes, workshops, anniversary parties, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers and other special events.

The Community Room can accommodate up to 60 people for sit-down dinners. A warming kitchen, equipped with stove, refrigerator and double sink is available. There is plenty of parking on the east side of the building for all of your guests.

Reservations are required and accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.


Refundable deposit: $100 (Please write a separate check, so it can be returned to you.)
Non-employee/Non-member: $125
Not-for-profit: $75
Member: $75

The person signing for the rental of the room, must be in attendance at the event.

Rent the Community Room

Organizations or individuals wishing to rent the Community Room must fill out an application. We suggest that you call the office to check to see if the room is available prior to mailing in your application and fees. Note: Kankakee Valley REMC reserves the right to cancel or alter your meeting schedule due to an emergency or any conflicts in scheduling. If this should occur, we will make every effort to contact you in plenty of time to make other arrangements.
