Lighting Program Details
- Lease fee for the new security light is only $15.25 per month*.
- Your power bill will not increase. All fees are included in the monthly lease charge.
- Installation is free of charge on an existing pole.
- KV REMC provides the wire, light fixture and bulb as long as you lease the light.
- Bulb changes are free of charge.
- All maintenance and power is included in your monthly lease fee.
- Member is responsible for notifying KV REMC of any problems with the security light.

Offer available to Kankakee Valley members only and applies to wattage and type of security light currently being installed by the cooperative. Service is limited to attachments to existing overhead electric lines. New poles installed may require an additional charge. Security light services are not available to members served by primary underground electric lines. One of our field engineers will visit your location to determine if it is possible to install a security light at your desired location. Not all service requests may be accommodated.
