RATE SCHEDULE SR
SEASONAL RECREATIONAL SERVICE

The Kankakee Valley Rural Electric Membership Corporation (REMC) shall charge and collect for seasonal recreational service on the following bases of availability, character of service, monthly rate, and tax adjustment.

AVAILABILITY:

Available to any member of the REMC requiring service not to exceed twenty-five (25) KVA of installed transformer capacity, who uses their home or cottage only part of each year or at intervals during the year. Service under this schedule is not available to members who occupy their homes twelve (12) months out of the year.

CHARACTER OF SERVICE:

Single phase, 60 cycles at the following standard voltages: 120/240, 240/480 or other voltages as might be mutually agreed upon.

MONTHLY RATE:

Purchased Power Cost Adjustment:

The amount computed at the above monthly rate shall be adjusted plus or minus by an amount calculated in accordance with the formula specified in the Kankakee Valley Rural Electric Membership Corporation’s Purchased Power Cost Adjustment Clause (Appendix A), which is a part of the “Monthly Rate” of this rate schedule.

Minimum Charge:

The minimum monthly charge shall be the facilities charge.

Tax Adjustment:

The amount computed at the above monthly rate as adjusted by the application of the purchased power cost adjustment clause shall be subject to taxes, assessments, and surcharges imposed by any governmental authority.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:

1. Service shall be provided in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Kankakee Valley Rural Electric Membership Corporation’s Service Policies and Bylaws.
2. The terms of payment shall be in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Kankakee Valley Rural Electric Membership Corporation’s Service Policies and Bylaws.
3. The rated capacity of single phase motors shall not be in excess of ten horsepower (10HP).
4. Meters shall be read by the Kankakee Valley Rural Electric Membership Corporation and bills rendered monthly.
