				<description><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 9pt; ">Apply today for the Indiana Cooperative Youth Academy</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;">Applications are currently being accepted for the 2012 Indiana Cooperative Youth Academy.&nbsp; If you are between the ages of 14-16 at the time the camp occurs, then you are eligible to apply.&nbsp;The academy will be held from July 26-29th at the FFA Leadership Center in Trafalgar, Indiana.&nbsp; Kankakee Valley REMC will sponsor one student to attend, so there is no cost to the student.&nbsp; <o:p></o:p></span></p>

				<description><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: 11pt">Check out Kankakee Valley REMC's Facebook page for&nbsp;photos and information posts from CEO Dennis Weiss while visiting Guatemala while on his fact-finding trip to bring electricity to the town of Joyabaj.</span>&nbsp;</p>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="font-size: 11pt">Dennis Weiss is one of the two electric cooperative CEOs and twenty-nine electric cooperative linemen who have volunteered to participate in an international initiative to bring electricity to developing areas in Guatemala. The project, called Hoosiers Power the World, is being coordinated by the Indiana Statewide Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives, Inc., (ISA) in partnership with NRECA International Foundation.</span></div>
