Donald Pressel is a farmer in Porter County. He has a son, Daryl, and a daughter, Donnell. Don has been a member of the REMC since 1969. He is a member of the Porter County Farm Bureau; has been a Campbell Seed Corn Rep since 1984 and is the owner of Pressel's U-Pick Strawberries. He has been on the REMC Board of Directors since 1974 and is Kankakee Valley's representative to the Indiana Statewide Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives. Don received his Certificate for Directors in 1992 and became a Credentialed Cooperative Director in 1999.
