Community Room

The Kankakee Valley REMC meeting room, known as the "Community Room," is available by reservation for group meetings, training classes, workshops, anniversary parties, birthday parties, baby showers bridal showers and other special events. The Community Room is located on the east side of the cooperative's headquarters building at 8642 W US Hwy 30, Wanatah, IN.

The Community Room can accommodate up to 60 people for sit-down dinners. A warming kitchen is available equipped with a stove, refrigerator and double sink. Plenty of parking is available on the east side of the headquarters building.

Scheduling for the community room is done on a first-come, first-served basis. Organizations or individuals wishing to rent the facility must fill out an application, which is available by calling 219-733-2511 or you can Click here for an online application and guidelines.

NOTE: Kankakee Valley REMC reserves the right to cancel or alter your meeting schedule due to an emergency or any conflicts in scheduling. If this should occur, we will make every effort to contact you in plenty of time to make other arrangements.
